Probation Officer invents Child Abuse claims
Officer makes false allegations ~ Defends for 1 year ~ Then blames 'minute taker'

An ex-offender at Stratford Probation became the target of Probation Officer a few weeks after being released from prison. Probation Officer Mr Mensur (Not his real name) added additional crimes during an official meeting. Suddenly there are weekly meetings, whispers of MAPPA, and it all started in a closed-room briefing where police and council staff heard false allegations so extreme they could ruin a life. The probationer only discovers the false claims after submitting a Subject Access Request. The struggle to clear his name lasted a year. The Probation Service tried to initially cover it up.
